A Level Results 2010
A level results will be available on Thursday 19th August 2010 from the school library at 11am for Year 13 students and 12 noon for Year 12 students.

ENQUIRES ABOUT RESULTS (EAR) 2010
Following the publication of exam results there a number of options that are available.
If a school, dept or individual are unhappy with the result and believe there has been a mistake then the following pathways may be explored. Candidate consent is required for service 1, 2 and 2P as grades can go down as well as up.
Service 1. A clerical recheck that all the paper has been marked and all the marks have been recorded and added up correctly. Deadline Thursday 16th September 2010.
Service 2. A review of the marking to ensure the mark scheme has been applied properly and a clerical check. Deadline Thursday 16th September 2010.
Service 2P. As Service 2 but only available at Level 3- A2 and where a candidate’s university place depends on it. Deadline Wednesday 25th August 2010.
It is also possible to get access to exam scripts (ATS).
Photocopy Scripts are available only at Level 3 and up until one week after A level results day. This service is not available with EAR 2P
Original scripts are available until the end of September and will be delivered by 15 November. They should not be ordered where an EAR is being considered. Cost at A Level: Service 2 £ 40 (AQA £45), Service 2P £45 (AQA £50), Photocopy of script £11.50.
Where an EAR means a change in the overall subject grade the fee will be refunded

In order to make an EAR you must see Mr Stanton in person. You will need to sign the candidate consent form and make payment before the EAR is made. He will be available to deal with EAR on
- Friday 20th August 10.00am-1.00pm
- Monday 23rd August 12.00-2.00pm
- Wednesday 25th August 12.00-3.00pm
Re-sitting Exams
Following the AS results you may consider re-sitting some of your Year 12 exam units. This should be done following consultation with your teachers. There will be a limited number of subjects available through the school in the January 2011 Series. Other subjects may be available at other centres .At Twyford we will offer the full range of subjects next summer.
The timetable of subjects available at Twyford in January will be published on September 10th Application forms will be available from 20th September from the Sixth Form Centre reception desk and should be returned only to Mr Stanton. The school deadline is Tuesday 5th October. Students looking to book re-sits at other centres should ensure they get organised in September as centres may have different deadlines and charges. Double and then treble fees apply to late applications.
For the summer 2011 series, application forms will be available from Monday 22nd November 2010. The school deadline is Wednesday 1st December 2010. Late fees will then apply
